Olly and the Global Row team are working with the best naval boat designers in the industry, Phil Morrison, to ensure that the revised vessel is fully prepared for the next expedition attempt.

Victoria Nicholson is our full time campaign manager who is in charge of sponsorship, PR and marketing for the expedition as well as all day to day logistics.

Victoria brings with her a varied understanding of marketing and public relations after working for a Financial PR boutique in the City for 4 years. Having decided to leave the corporate London lifestyle in order to pursue her quest for adventure, she has spent the last few years working in expedition logistics, marketing, sponsorship and PR for various international challenges ranging from trans-global sailing projects to Polar races.

Victoria gained her first taste of working in expedition logistics when she project managed The Everest Test 2009 - a world record setting official Cricket match at Gorak Shep near Everest Base Camp, which culminated in the highest game of sport ever played. The expedition team raised over £150,000 for various charities and the campaign gained wide reaching global media coverage.

Having taken part in a six week mountaineering and expedition course in Chilean Patagonia in 2010 - completing an unsupported traverse of the remote Northern ice cap, facing hurricane force storms and surviving in ice caves, Victoria is familiar with the harsh conditions and reality of expedition life and understands the pressures of such environments well.
Victoria wanted to link her PR, marketing and organisational expertise with the world of expeditions, so co-ordinating expedition logistics for Olly and the Global Row is an ideal fit.
