Having the most advanced electronic and communications equipment on board will enable Olly to stream photographic, video, and voice material directly from his boat in the middle of whichever ocean he happens to be in, to an audience of millions.

The Global Row website will automatically plot his progress using GPS, and all footage and photography will upload directly to the site, to the expedition Facebook page and to Twitter.

News from the expedition will arrive in both classrooms, newsrooms, offices and homes around the globe in seconds.
